Barley green products?

Hello, all.

Some friends of ours recently recommended that my wife and I use barley green products, although they didn't specify a particular type [drinks, tablets, etc.]. Does anyone here have experience with this stuff? I'm not overly trusting of the claims of health food products, so I'd personally not bother with this, but perhaps some of you folks have good things to report about barley green.

We use a product called Greens Plus that I really like. I can definitely feel a difference when I take it regularly. There is very good book called Healing With Whole Foods-Asian Traditions and Modern Nutrition. Greens Plus pretty much contains every supplement that the author suggests taking. It's about $40 a bottle (one month supply) at a health food store, but I've seen it online for $25. I usually alternate it with a good multi-vitamin or use it more frequently if I am stressed or under the weather.
