Is it possible to replace a blade on an old Barlow? Would it be worth the trouble? Would it kill the value of the knife. Then again I will never sell it. Just curious.

Kill the value? Maybe not, maybe. If the blade needs replacing, it might not be too valuable, unless it is a very rare old knife. It would change some people's opinion of the value of the knife.
Is it worth it? Well, unless the knife has sentimental value, might not be worth it. If you like the knife, and want to keep using it, it might be worth it to you.
