Labor day today and I had some time to finish up this Barlow slipjoint.

Blade rides on an aluminum bronze bushing.
Blade: AEB-L stainless steel, liquid nitrogen quench, 62 Rockwell, flat ground and hand sanded to 600.
Bolster is stainless and threaded, liners have a glass bead blasted mill relief and are jeweled, back spring is polished.

Scales are Rams horn with a stainless shield that is pinned.

Flush in all 3 positions with great walk and talk with a half stop.

3.5" closed

There is a lot going on in such a small package.

Thanks for looking

That’s marvelous, some of my very favorite scales plus your builds are Devine. :D

I have been working with Rams horn an find it quite beautiful an still have some ruggedness to the texture and look. Your knife looks very nice all around. Well done Adam.

Thanks, it takes some tricky thinning and placement to save the deep valleys for the knife.

That turned out very good.
I really like the rams horn barlow bolster.
Thanks for sharing
