I have cleaned up the 4 ax heads to a point were marking/stampings and paint can be seen to aid in the hopeful identification of them. All links below are shared albums that contain the pictures of the 4 ax heads

The True Temper Kelly Works Flint Edge (Connecticut) is in the best condition after cleaning. I will be giving the head a wire wheel /cup treatment to remove the remaining small areas of rust and brighten up the head.

First unknown ax: the BLUE GERMAN

Second unknown ax: FORGED STEEL

Third unknown ax: the CAMP AX

Any information regarding the Make/Model (Pattern), Country of Origin, proper handle length/style would be very helpful. I plan on restoring all to working order with new hickory handles and custom sheaths.

Thank you,
Kyle

They could have been made by anyone, the first one is in good shape. The second one has some strong wear on the toe, nice thick cheeks tho. The third one looks nice and light, but also like it was used to split cinder blocks. Whatever they are, a good sharpening and handle would benefit them all. They all look like good users. Have fun!

The Jerry-built axe has flat cheeks that are typical of European origin choppers whereas the other two have raised cheeks relative to their edges. This suggests, to me, that those ones are American-made. The fact that they aren't maker-stamped doesn't mean the quality is inferior but that they were probably paper or foil labelled by whatever hardware chain that commissioned them.
