Picked up a boys ax at a barn sale. It is in pretty bad shape, the head is a little rusty but still shows the Collins blue on the head although there aren't any markings. The head was epoxied in but the wood is so dried out that the head loosened up going down the handle. The head is thinner through the cheeks than my other Boys ax? being a little more convex than wedged shaped. I think it will make a great limbing, woodcraft ax. I'll post some before & after pictures when I get ready to put a new handle on it. Good day today.
