barong is off center, almost hitting the handle

i never really payed much attention to this but i just looked at my barong closed and the blade is really far off center. i'm wondering if there's a way to correct this? would another bushing do anything? i've tried tightening it but when you get the blade centered enough it's too hard to open. any tips?

Try loosening and tightening the body and pivot screws different amounts. If you cant get that to work, send her back to spydieland.
