Finally got one finished with the sheath and everything.

I am definitely keeping one of these for me....NO, you can't have it!!



This one is going to briggz - lucky dog!

Turned out pretty good, eh?


The more I thought about it, I decided that the ability to fillet at least even a little would be pretty important...and since 3/32" is the thinnest I could get good knifemaking steel, I went with a full flat grind top to bottom...to make it closer to a fillet knife - but make no mistake, it is still very stout. The tip is flexible, but that is IT.

Couple that with a nice wide handle made of 3/8" thick G10 that is heavily blasted....add in thumbgrooves, a heavily bead-blasted finish and a slight guard and you've got great retention and an easy-to-hold-when-wet handle...that even if dropped will be easy to find (and looks great too, imho). :D

9.5" overall length
5" blade, 13C26 stainless steel, 0.100" thick, flat grind
4.5" handle, 3/8" thick Orange G10 handles, aluminum pin/lanyard

I saw that you had all the orange g10 handled ones glued up does that mean mine #10 and #11 in the order list is glued up? If so when do you need the rest of the funds sent to you?

OK, had you emailed me and told me when they went into glue up to send the remaining funds I would have. But you have them now. When do they ship?

Got both of them today. :)
One goes to the man who introduced me to fly-fishing. I will be adding 7 strand 550 parachute cord to both as lanyards and as lacing to mount the Kydex sheaths.
