Barry Dawson Knives - Blade

One of the best assortment of custom knives I saw at the Blade Show was from Barry Dawson Knives, including many excellent damascus versions, all with extremely sharp blades. I thought the work was really good, especially compared to many other custom makers, and at a fair price to boot. However, I have the impression that he is very underrated as a custom knife maker, because I only see his product on a few purveyor sites.

Anyone familiar with Barry Dawson Knives, which to my eye, seemed like good quality cutlery? I had not heard of him before Blade this year.

Barry is a class act. He always does the Vegas show and also sometimes one of our local gun & knife shows. His work is certainly under-rated. Lynn Dawson is an incredible knifemaker as well. Always enjoy seeing the Dawson-Dawson-Cook trio at shows.

Barry makes a great knife for the money. I have a small fixed blade pocketknife I bought off him 4(?) years ago that is one of my most used knives.
