Barry Dawson neck knives

I called barry dawson custom knives in Colorado this morning to get him to make me a couple of sheaths for 2 of his BD09 defender knives that I own. While talking to him I asked if he had any customs available for immediate delivery. He had 2 BD05 neck knives on hand so I went ahead and ordered them also. These are called letter openers or spike neck knives. Does anyone have one of these? If so I would like any input or opinions on yours. He was so nice and accomodating. He called me back this evening and is going to ship the knives and the 2 sheathes out tomorrow. Now that is service.

I got one, and my roomate bought one after seeing mine, and I had another and traded it iff. it is 1/4" stock, and though it is a wide grind, it still takes a keen edge. I carry mine often because the slim profile hides easily. They are killer knives for the money. It keeps a pretty good edge and is deceptively sharp.

My roomate uses his daily at work, cutting boxes and such, and it has held up well. He has gone two months cutting stuff with it and it still cuts.
