Maybe everybody else knows Barry has a website. I sure didn't until his webmaster asked me for a link. It's a really nice site with really beautiful knives.

I've liked Barry's work right from the start. One of the first knife magazines I ever bought was a Fighting Knives with an article about Barry's knives. I think the article was called "Big Sky Knives" and featured some knives with turqoise handles. Gee, I guess it must thave made some impression.
As you can tell, I may be a knifemaker, but I'm a fan first. In fact, every show I go to, I'm still starstruck. The really cool thing about the knife community is that a newbie like me can interact with the established makers as a peer. It's a lot friendlier and less heirarchical group than I have encountered in electronics manufacturing or sports car racing (previous activities of mine).
