Here is a Ron Lake, with the all new "Burnished Blade" technique, yellow gold leaves , rose gold stems, rose gold rope border with sculpted steel leaves and stippled and inked backgound.
Thanks to Ron P. and Kirby for help in locating the canvas.

a very nice knife which at $20K it outta be lol, no one does it better than lake though.
 
Wow. That leaf sculpture work looks amazing. And your burnished blade technique seems to give a dimensional effect. Very cool.
 
Words just don't do justice for such an amazing work. Looking at that engraving is almost a mystical experience. Brilliant work!
 
That is stunning. Love the little hand prints on the tail lock. Comes with a built in instruction manual
 
Gorgeous work!! I'm really, really curious about this "burnished blade" technique you mentioned. At first glance it almost resembles acid etching... Could you tell us any more about the process? If you'd rather keep it quiet for now I'd understand, but it turned out great.
