Barry Wood Folder Disassembly

I was hoping someone out there could help me out with this one: Is there any way to easily disassemble a Barry Wood Mk I folder. I recently laid my hands on one with a pitted blade that I'd like to polish up for use as a personal carry knife (my mint Barry Wood will never go in the same pocket I keep my keys in).

Look up some contact information for Mike Irie. He would probably spruce it up for you, and put it back together good as new.

Don't know why I didn't think of that -- I think both Mike and Barry still live in my old stompping grounds of Colorado Springs. Guess I assumed since Barry has retired and rumor has it Mike divorced (and no longer makes the famous folders) that neither would likely be available. Won't hurt to try...

Here ya go, but Mike will be away for the Holidays but you can still send him an email. He does have a means to work on those folders and should be able to help out, plus he is a nice guy!
