For those of you who haven't seen it already, the Baryonyx Machete was given a great writeup in the May/June issue of Knives Illustrated by the excellent Mr. Tim Stetzer. Due to an editor's error the machete/company name was misspelled (they omitted the first "y") but Mr. Stetzer himself had spelled it correctly. Of course, I'm now totally out of Baryonyx Machetes! :p Working on getting the next run done up right now with a slight sheath revision. Needless to say, I'm very grateful to have had the machete make it into the publication--it's my baby! A huge thanks to everyone that's helped support me along the way--I couldn't have done it without ya'! :)

I'm glad that one of them got your name/blade spelled correctly.

I don't know how many misspellings and typos of maker's names & blades I've seen over the years.

We really do look like a bunch of billy bob's to anyone with a high school diploma from outside of our passion that picks up any of our mag's & publications. LOL

Hahaha--yeah they also had a couple of the new Pro Series Moras in their "Best of SHOT" section and the captions were switched on the models. Whoops. :D
 
I picked up the magazine the other day and was pleasantly surprised to see the article on your machete, and to see that it was such a highly positive review. Congratulations!
 
You deserve all the praise, it is an amazing design and brutally effective tool.
I can't get enough of it :thumbup:
 
Congrats! I need to get my hands on that issue.

To think of that machete though...And I got the LAST one...

This bodes quite well. I think I'll check the tracking on it right now. :p
 
Big Congrats dude. I don't use my Ontario 12" machete for anything other than large knife work, at 1/3 the cost too!, but if I ever develop a need for a machete yours is deffinatly on the short list.
