Here's a perfect BAS by Sanu. 15 inches, 22 ounces. Good hard edge. Nicely executed. The only thing I can find wrong is a narrow super glue fix crack on the handle. Nice sized karda and chakma and well done. Same old top notch scabbard by village sarki in new leather. Mil style frog.

The crack saves you $35. Take this one home for $65.

Call or email.

It's nice to see the phrase "same old top notch" on everything. Excellence is a great standard.

Wish my mechanic was that way.

ALL RIGHT!!!

Be prepared for lots of pictures......

The shop seems to be settling down and that's good news. Living in fear of personal safety is not good for anything or anybody.

Really glad things seem to be settling down. Not just to keep HI going but for everyones personal safety. It is not fun living in fear! The latest developments here are just starting to bring home this fact! Sure hope the ulcer is going away too!

Yesterday was bad day for ulcer. Usually trips to the Va hospital are stressful and depressing and that sets them off. Better today but had to skip the Heineken yesterday.

Whoo Hooo
Got it today!!!
Very nice, blade, like the brass inlay work.
The super glue fix is small crack, I wont worrie too much about it.
Looks like it got damaged in shippment, someone droped this box hard enough to take a small chunk of horn out of the bottom of the handle and dislodge the karda and chakma from their very tight holders, and dent the heck out of the brass endcap. It now is bent upward....
Oh well stuff happens, this puppy is going to be a user.
Sending it off next week to get a kydex sheath made for it.
It just seems so dang small when holding the 19"AK....
I guess I am going to be a total big knife guy from now on.
Hmmm I need something in 25" :)

Pics and field report to come Sunday or Monday.
Thanks again for the deal Bill.
I sent the payment out on Thursday, so you should have got it today or will on Monday. Let me know when you get it.

Did I tell you about the khukuri that got run over by a forklift? You could see the tire mark on the box. Scabbard suffered worse than the knife.

:D
I bet!!
I was choping this am with the AK on a real old walking stick, I've had the stick in my garage for at least 5 years. Dont know what type of wood it is, but hard as a rock literaly. Scrached up the blade, but the edge is still straight and sharp. Will get some pics up tomorrow with a long field report of bolth knives.
Man I got it bad, I need something big....
