Well here it is! It arrived yesterday afternoon. Its stunning in person, more so than in the pictures. The bone has so much color going on its hard to describe, its especially vibrant in the sunlight. The blade was super sharp for its entire length and it has amazing balance for such a long blade. Its 21 inches and 25oz but it feels a lot lighter in the hand. The brass gleams and will shine even more once I hit it with NeverDull. The spine is the same width until the last 1.5in where it tapers nicely to a very fine point. It is very solid feeling in the hand, if feels like a fighting weapon more than an axe or tool. Multiple strikes from varies angles are possible with the slightest effort...its a very fast kukri. I am glad I jumped on it the minute it was posted, there were many sharks in the water that weekend and I had already lost the "Attitude" on Friday night but I am glad now because I much prefer this Rajkumar made masterpiece.

Enjoy the pictures...

Dang what a great looking blade! That's a collector right there,,, beautiful handle,, Nice score man

Yup...that's a Rajkumar alright. Looks like my bashpati's big brother. A real gem. If yours is fast, imagine what an 18" 19oz feels like...:) I absolutely love mine, and I wouldn't trade , nor sell it at anytime. It literally lives by my nightstand, within arm's reach to handle any "bumps in the night" situations.

Enjoy her, and may she serve you well.

Bashpatis are such artworks. True collector piece. Cul, I hope you have a machete to blame instead of the bashpati tho! Would hate to imagine such a fine blade going to the box of no return (evidence locker) lol. Heaven forbid anything of the sort should happen tho.

But of course, lots of bladed alternates at my place...:)

Sweet. My neighbors were broken into like 3months ago and since then I've had tramontina's scattered about the house like The Punisher had his weapons lol. I do sleep with my Gelbu wedged between my bed and the wall tho (not really for defense but the Gelbu Special feels like a pet to me. Strange eh?).

Man id be proud of that one! I was right behind you on the snag for that one. I didnt notice it was 21" at first but since it was a Rajkumar and from Auntis collection I knew it was special. The edge looks thinner than a Sirupati as well. Maybe Chitlangi profile? That blade wreaks fighter and at 21" I wouldnt want to be anywhere near that tip at speed. Talk about slice you open:eek: I dont have a Kumar Kobra yet but would imagine it would feel much like one. Thanks for the pics! Score!

Thanks guys, it pretty much hasn't left my hands since it arrived. I'm at work thinking about it now, I feel like a kid in class daydreaming about his first girlfriend. I can wait to get home so I can rub her down with some oil and feel her in my hands. I hope that didn't sound to weird ;).

Were talkin mineral oil or blo Gurkha. Coconut oil is for the softer materials:D

That is a beautiful knife. IMO, it is one of the best looking and coolest knives HI makes. I kicked myself for hesitating before I ems'd for it. :) I am a little jealous, but I am glad it found a good home. :)

Congratulations on snagging such a special blade!
