I need some help finding a good sheath for the Basic 10 I now have on order (first Busse for me, btw). I'm in the military, so I would like one that will attach to the MOLLE/PALS webbing on my assault pack. I'd also like to be able to wear it on a belt. Any good suggestions?

Get a layered Kydex sheath. Easy attachment to MOLLE w/ MOLLE locks or paracord and a multitude of different carry methods. Some people like to buy the ESEE MOLLE back to attach to a layered sheath to add belt carry & MOLLE attachment options as well as make the sheath drop ready: http://www.eseeknives.com/rc-5-6-molle-back.htm

I've had good luck with Rainwalker and AZWelke. Below are two AWESOME drop leg sheaths that Rainwalker made up for me for my Dog Father and NMSFNO. I'll be putting in an order for the same kind of sheath when it gets closer to B-10 shipping time. Congrats on your first Busse! There's no looking back!

Let me know if the picture comes out huge:

The belt loop is easily removable for attachment to MOLLE gear. I leave the loop on when I attach it to the side of my pack and run the top retention strap through it, while using paracord to attach the rest of the sheath to the MOLLE webbing.

This AZWelke sheath is attached the the webbing on the shoulder strap of my pack using a large tek-lok at a 45 degree angle so that it's always ready for use. I really love this setup for my smaller blades (Rodent Solution in this case.)

I'm sure you can't go wrong with any of the Kydex benders in the Busse forums. I've gotten sheaths from a lot of them either directly or through trades/buys off the exchange. I've only had one bad experience, but I won't bring that up in the open forum.

Another great is BuyBrown (Daivd Brown). He makes sheaths for just about everything.

He will have a knife for a pattern pretty darned quick. I really like his sheaths.

Also, AZWelke (which I have owned is great) Okuden (which I have used are really heavy duty), Mashed Cat (also stellar, I had one for my old FBMLE and SS which went with the knives when I sold them ), and a few others I am forgetting right now (all make a great sheath).

Any of the sheath makers can include mole or tech lock or both (depending on your preferences).

You can get great drop leg systems from a number of makers (mashed cat has a excellent one).

Also, you can ask to make the sheath Jumpable if you want.

Let me tell you one thing........you will love your B10!!!!!!!

The only problem with the 10" from scrapyard is that it does not have MOLLE/PALS attachments (at least mine doesn't.)

It's possible that by the time we all get our B-10s, Spec-ops will have a 10" sheath. That would probably be perfect, as it has attachments on the back & a pouch on the front. It has a removable liner (Kydex?) that you can easily mold to your B-10, and it has a split drop loop, which is a favorite of mine as you can see from my Rainwalker sheaths.

If you can find a Lost Mountain Iron Works (LMIW) Foot Long, grab it! They are out of business, but make some pretty awesome sheaths!

All makers listed above do great work. You wont be disappointed regardless of which you choose.
