Perfect for processing salmon. The summer/fall run is just starting on the sacramento river. This guy weighed 17# and was caught from shore after about 15 minute fight. I saw a 35# fish a boat caught today. Hopefully I can catch one of those soon.

Very nice! I fish steelies and browns on the lake Ontario tributaries. What sort of tackle do you use out there?

Every piece of the river is different. At this location I use an 8 1/2' gloomis heavy casting rod with a shimano chronarch baitcaster with 50# braided line with a 2 ounce weight with 12 feet of 12# florocarbon leader with a 2/0 salmon hook with various beads with and without roe.

Yeah Buuuuuuuddy!!! Looks like the fishin' was great and the B-10 is working out perfectly!!! Glad you were able to land both!!!

A slab of that on the BBQ with some lemon juice and garlic would be awesome!!! Washed down with a nice red. All whilst weilding that cool chunk of INFI. :)

Nice catch, enjoy the good eating.

What is the function of that wooden box? Seems like it would get in the way of cutting the steaks.

Hopefully I will be having the same luck in a few weeks. Love fresh salmon. Nice work.

Nice! I am always in the mood for sushi, now I really want some. :)

Todays fish. 27# er. Lots of roe. They are starting to move in now. I always fish with a Scrapovorie on my lanyard. I used it to clean this fish and it works great.
Great pics! post more if you get more fish!
