Stupid question? Perhaps...

I just scored a Basic 11 and was wondering how the handle feels?

Also, under extreme use could the handle fall off or come loose?

handle feels great, I was worried it would be a bit small as I have bigger hands but no worries there. To answer your other question, no, it isn't going anywhere  congrats on the score btw, love mine

The Basic 11 is an awesome knife, handles are much more comfortable on a chopper than the micarta, and like Silverbullets said they're not going anywhere!

simple in geometry but refined in textures, it's fairly slim in the hand compared to the large (comparable sized) swamp rat style handle. the swamp rats are more of a square grip where the basic series is more rectangular in cross section. While that doesn't give as "full" of a grip it gives a better feel for where the edge is at when your chopping (edge indexing).

I really like mine!!! It's very comfy. I've used mine to cut a cheesecake and the ergonomics really helped in saving me from a stress injury :)

Had a Basic 9, loved the handle.....wanted more blade. I don't have mine in hand yet, but should in a few weeks. The basic 11 should be perfect. Rec-C is very nice, no hot spots, no blisters and its more positive than anything else if you're barehanded.
