basic 6 just got it!

I know everyone is all basting over the basic 10 going up tonight (I may and I may not, still deciding-selling my satin rat left a void...), BUT I got a 6 in today on the secondary market and it is a beauty. Well-balanced, looks strong as an anvil, and the sharpest factory edge I have ever seen- whoever Beef is, he knows his was around an edge. My question, before I start using this blade, is: Does one strop this edge? Is there any video out there on this type edge? thanks.cwd

Yes, one strops that edge.

Nothing easier, or better for edge maintenance in my book!

Heck, I even strop my v edges.

strop it frequently, after every use if possible, and you won't need to do anything else to it to keep it shaving sharp... unless there's edge damage..
