Basic 7 Rehandle?

I seem to remember someone took off the res-c grip and put an antler handle or something on their basic 7. Anyone got a link, or am I making this up?

I'd probably give a kidney or something for a stag handled Busse.

Well... on second thought... maybe a pinky toe.

Kidneys I need for filtering booze or something... I think...

I only have stock B7's and B9's, but I do have a stag Basic 5:

Nah, I sent a new-condition B5 in to Jerry and asked him to thin it out and finish it for use as a hunting blade, and while it was in the shop had them take the Res-C handle off. Then sent it to Dennis Riley in Arkansas for one of his mortised stag handles. He also cut down the forward talon to install the guard, and added one of his special domed pommel caps. Then sent the finished product to Kenny Rowe for the high-ride sheath. Quite a bit of travelling to get that one right.

I never get tired of seeing that one Will !

Of all the knives I've ever seen, that has to be one of the best looking. I'm a huge fan of stag, and thats some of the best I've ever seen.

Thanks for those kinds words, Ken. Dennis does an incredible job on his stag handles--don't know where he gets his stock. Hesitated to post those pics again, but it seemed to fit the topic.

Its a Basic with Stag, so not only did it fit the topic, but would think this is the exact one he is talking about.
Only stag basic I have seen.

And besides we would never get tired of seeing that knife, off topic or not.
I think I'm OT half the time and don't even put up pics, esp great ones like those
