Am I the only one wishing the Basic 8 is the next offering?
Also, it would be nice if it had a ricasso similar in size to the 711...just sayin'. ;)

...or the Steel Heart Whacker (or whatever it's called.) I could live with that too.

oh yeah I am in !!! I love my 6 so bad I cant wait for the 10 and 8!!!!! the zero convexed edges on these are amazing, and beef did a killer job on my 6 I hope he does my 10!!!
 
I think if they offer with a choilless option like the B10, or even a small choil like the SCABS it would get some more people motivated. Then again Jerry is the knife guy, not me. Hes been doing fine for the past 20+ years without my input :thumbup:
 
I passed on the 6 since I have a user Camp Tramp and the 10 because I have several user B11's but I'm all in for a no choil version of the 8. :D :thumbup:
If a no choil option isn't offered then I suppose a full choil would work. :)
A useless small choil would just have to get modded into a larger one that could actually be used. :rolleyes:

Also looking forward to the 4!
 
One of the most complimented blades I've seen out of Wauseon the past few years has been the NMSFNO, which consistently gets very high marks from those who have used it as a general purpose camp/hike/backbacking blade. I don't know how many times I've thought if that knife only came with a Res-C handle, I'd be all over it.

This is the knife, IMO. :thumbup:

Is the basic 8 expected in the next year or is this all just pure wishing? I saw on the price guide that they listed a "basic 8 (2011)" with no price. I want to pick up a tough chopper ... the basic line is exactly what I want and 8'' is exactly the blade length that I would choose, so count me in too.
 
You just never know what is coming out of Wauseon. Heck I am here and am usually to drunk to realize what is coming until it happens.

I'm looking forward to the 8 as well. But I got a couple 10s and i'll be ordering at least 1-2 4s as well. I'm a basic fan.

The eight is the last of the Busse Basic 2011 line right? I perfer to enjoy the anticipation and pace myself. The Scrapyard is on the second release out of 6, and the Swamp has only had one of 6 available. Them Rats deserve some time on the grinders. Need me a SR 311 for a little edc cutter.
 
longest two weeks of my life ... but since I just bought a muffler for my .45, my bank account could use a rest. SHHhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
 
the B8 and warhawk are the ones I can't wait for. The 911 should be awesome too, but I already have several Res-C knives in the 9+ range. Not long now and we'll have another whole list to lust after.
