I'm bringing this over from the General Forum year 1 archive http://www.bladeforums.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/005065.html .

Yvsa had asked
Mine is nice and snug also at the handle. The blade seems awfully loose though and is movable enough to rattle back and forth, but is pretty solid otherwise.
This is the first kydex sheath I have ever owned. Are they supposed to be like that?
I was thinking the way everyone talks that the blades fit pretty snug and didn't move around.
FWIW, the sheath on my Basic 9 fits w/o any perceptible rattling. While it is possible to induce some spine to edge movement with the handle locked in place, the blade does not shift at all on its own even w/o the retaining strap in place.

I'm sure some of our resident kydex/concealex sheath experts could give you tips for getting a more precise fit if you'd want to play around with it yourself. Otherwise, you're probably better off contacting Busse & asking for a replacement sheath.

P.S. Now THIS is a karda.

Taking a cue from Cliff Stamp, sorta,I can bite down on the bottom of the sheath just a bit and it tightens up quite nicely.
I really hate to bother Jerry and the staff at Busse Combat over such a small matter and would prefer to fix it myself.

I put a few micro chips in mine tonight chopping some paper up for my g'daughter.I was using the end of a piece of hardwood cut for firewood. It had some residual dirt on it.
I may have hit some small stones imbeded in it.
I have to say that sharpening the INFI-M is a whole new experience.
It sharpens like something much, much softer.I am still pretty amazed at that!!

Thanks for bringing this over though.I would like to have the sheath to where it doesn't rattle.
