Basic addiction, Resiprene handles & my first Basic LE

I'm a Basic addiction, I have the luck to have 2 B11, 1 B7, 1 B5

I'm looking for a B9, but is difficult to find.

Why I prefer my Basic that my others for work (FBM, NMFBM, ASH-1.....
I'ts simply, the handle difference, a high level of shock absorptionunder heavy impact , that the Micarta and G10 handle don't have.
When you pass 1 day in the woods for work, your hand appreciate in the end of the day.
Long life to Resiprene handles.

Normaly, I only purchase combat grade in Black, but for the new Basis 10 LE, if he don't have combat grade model predicted like Jerry have write

The Busse Combat Basic 10 LE will NEVER be offered again NOR will there ever be a Combat Grade offered of this model.

Is maybe the same thing for the new Basic 6?

And the forum price offered is very interesting, so for the first time I have make order for a LE model, I wait to know like all members he have make the same What's my serial number.

Hi. Who could dislike such a nice bunch of blades! I have to get myself one of those resiprene wonders one day...
BTW I believe the handle construction significantly moves the center of gravity forward resulting in better chopping ability in comparison to full tang knives.

I'm with you FBF!!!
I LOVE my Basics....well my Basic 9 anyways.
I have a CG Dumpster Mutt that has the Basic handles and I LOVE that knife as well.
I've played with a B11 and it's great but NEED to get a B7 and B5.
I'm also VERY excited for the B4!!

well dont have any original basics but I am not missing out on the 6 ,8 ,10!!!!!! the 4 I might Idk? have the 6 and ordered a 10 last night. hopefully the 8 will be a little spaced out release time.

I love all the Basics as well. I hope that I like the new handle on the 10 as much as the originals. I really need to track down an original 5 and 7 as well. Anyone got a couple of those ugly old Basics kicking around that you want to get rid of? I can help you out

Seems to me you need a Basic 9 for your collection.

And for the best Busse out there...to me it's a tie between 7 and 9...

Regardless of the blade length it is hard to go wrong with any of the basics. Res-C is an awesome handle material all around.

The only Busse or kin I have now is all res-c. The handles feel right and I like the forward balance of the blade.
