Basic/Gold Membership

Hi. I got a notice today saying my basic membership expires 5/2 but my gold membership doesn't expire until 6/29. I'm being told I have to renew my basic membership. This does not make sense. Evidently when I paid my gold membership my basic membership was not cancelled and prorated onto the end of the gold. If I have to renew each almost two months apart perpetually, that's a royal pain in the butt.

You never have to renew any membership unless you want to. Just let it lapse and continue on with the Gold.
