Basic Handle

My son just scarfed up my Basic 7. Harumph. Does anybody know where I can get a hard use knife with the same handle as the old Busse Basics?

There was a Scrap yard Dumpster Mutt on the Exchange the other day.
Same Basic handle.

All of the scrapyard blades are res-c handles. The yard guard and the son of dogfather would be fairly close to the basic 7.

Travel a little farther back in time. Get a Swamp Rat Camp Tramp. Still one of my favorites, and I actually prefer it over the Basic 7.

As much as I want my B7 back, I just gotta let my son keep it. He has never never never liked knives (kind of makes me sad), and he doesn't use any of the folders I got him. Then about 3 weeks ago he said, "I don't like little knives. I only like big knives. Can I have the one in your truck?" Made me so proud!

He and his friends beat the crap out of the B7 and my Becker BK1. Guess which edge held up and which rolled and chipped on nothing tougher than wood? I'll post pics later if anybody wants to see them.

And congrats on your son's suddenly developed fine taste in knives!! However, I must concur with the others that it is in order to get him his own Res-C handled knife from ScrapYard so you can steal your Basic 7 back from him.
