Basic member, what do we get?

Can somebody explain exactly what basic members get?

Bare bones membership that allows avatars, signatures, limited attachments and private messaging. Does not allow selling in Exchange area

how limited an attachment?
what kind of avatars?
 
Attachments: you can upload pictures to be hosted on the Bladeforums servers. It's a convenient way to post pix especially if you don't already have another host. There's a limit to storage -- I think it's five meg for basic members. If you fill that up you can delete some old pix or upgrade your membership to get more space.

Avatars: you have an avatar because you were grandfathered in, but you can't change it. If you get a basic membership you can change to another avatar if you want.
 
I have no idea, Danny, I don't use that stuff. But Yvsa was able to get his little BS shoveler back at the bottom of his posts.

I had the same question. I now have a 'premium' membership, which is no longer listed for comparison to the new terminology. I'm not sure if I need to buy a 'Gold' or 'Basic' membership for my renewal in a couple of weeks, in order to have the same benifits, I now have.
I sent Spark an email requesting clarification, but he awful busy.

Basic membership actually has some neat features to it...more than I thought. Gold is now cheaper than it used to be too. Glad to see some platinum members on this forum too.
