Basic Serrated

A while ago I saw some posts on someone performing serration on a basic #5. I didn't see a definitive answer about the warranty issue, and I was wondering if it is possible to still get a serrated #5. And are there any issues with strength? Does it weaken the blade greatly, or does it retain its strength? Help me out! And if I can get a basic #5 w/ serration what would it cost with a kydex sheath too?

The serrations you saw were done by me and it looks like we are a go. I just need to finalize the wording on the warranty so it is in line with Jerry's. Call for details.

No word yet on the Kydex but Jerry is working on it.

I have tested the serrations and they hold up just fine. There is no stress on the blade and the angle matches most sharpeners on the market.
