I've always wanted to try a Groove Master out. Let us know your impressions and if it fills a niche or is just cool.

I like the multi grip options the GM offers, question for all the old schoolers out there, was this ever actually offered in black paper and polished spine? Or should I send it in to be destroyed?!?!?:D

I volunteer for the destruction!!!!!
I'll even cover the shipping J!!!!
I know.....I'm a really nice guy!!! :D

I'm an old timer by age i guess, but if you could just send that puppy to me i'll be more than happy to dispose of it for you.
Heck i'll even pay for the shipping because i'm a giver like that. :D :p I guess i'm getting slow in my age i got beat to the punch. I hate when that happens!!

Nice. I have always been interested in the Groove master for a hunter.

Nice basic as well. I think I may have to look out for a Res C handled smallish knife to pair with the B11.

That might be a 'phoenix that rose from the dead' at a blade show (i.e., new production of an old design). I think the original ones were snakeskin and black crinkle and black micarta and black crinkle....but wouldn't bet my life on it :)

This one's in my BOB:

Jared I think that family photo you posted a week or two ago is way out of date already! Cool GM!

I use a buffalo soldier, basically the same, with some tweaks. It has been banned and it is an awesome knife. My wife basically stole it for use as a cooking knife while camping. I hate losing it but it was for a good cause! Underrated knives every bit the equal of the badger III. My groovemaster is also snakeskin and black. Keep your eye out for the buffalo soldier, it is either thinner stock or full flat grind and an even better slicer.

I have a GM, I think it's awesome. It's interesting in that it basically has more handle than blade, but with all the grip options it is amazingly versatile.
