Heres a new one I just finished, right before I thrust the point of the knife a little over 1/2" right into my palm. It seems to be a day for bloody knives!

Not sure what the style of sheath is called, but its nice and slim, I like it.

Now for the obligatory pic of the wound, this is a split second after taking the tee shirt off it, took flipping forever to make it stop bleeding long enough for the butterfly suture. Was at Costco an hour later lapping up the free food samples. :D

The tip had blood on it! It was only in there for a blink!

Measured well over 1/2" across and the blood is a bit over 1/2" up the blade, friggin ouch!! Its sore as heck, things might slow a bit, but they wont stop. I'll just have to be careful not to open it back up again, no stitches!!! :p

I love a slim sheath, and that one looks awesome Dwayne:thumbup:

Thats it, I'm not touching another knife today! Seems to be the day for cuts doesn't it:p Got myself pretty good two weeks ago.

Well, sure. Now it's a USED knife.

It's all fun and games until someone loses investment value.:D

Nice sheath and nice incision. Jerry Lairson makes sheaths like that. Slim and economic style. Very cool and as always Dwayne, great work.

nice (the sheath, not the wound). ;)

have/done any similarly slim sheaths for an ASH?

my only issue with many of the gorgeous examples of leatherwork I've seen from you and others is the sheer bulk of it versus kydex.

Great leather work! As always.

But you've got to watch those Fighters. They're always out for blood.;)

Cut yer other hand, put them together and become yer own Blood-brother. :D

Beautiful work, as always!

Don't worry much about the cut... it is just the INFI's way of telling you that she loves you.
;)

Thanks everyone! :D I'm just happy I didnt get a tendon, at least I hope I didnt.

Dont see why not! :) And the beauty is that they would work great on my Tippman manual stitcher.

One the question about the point coming out the other side, I did check when I did it. But yea, I made it half way. :o

I can't thank you enough for doing this sheath for me. It turned out better than expected.

Looks like you'll be getting more requests for this style very soon.
The basketweave pattern turned out awesome

Nice sheath...and OUCH!! Looks like the mil-overrun is blood thirsty, and does her job well!! I hope your hand heals up safely and quickly.

:yawn:Just another work of art in sheath making ;)

Never seen a sheath made by Dwayne that I didn't love. AAA craftsmanship.

Take care of that wound, brother. Tell the Mrs that you need that moved or you need this done for a week or so, until it heals proper:D

I dont know why, but I dig hearing stories/seeing pics of people getting bit by their blades... As long as it's not too serious:eek:

Great work man!

Ouch there Dwayne!!! I thought you new the pommel is the part that hangs out...
