Basketweave Mnandi?

Does anybody have one of these? Wondering how this pattern would look on the narrower Mnandi blade.

I came up with a couple pictures googling but would love to see some more.

I had forgotten that there were basketweaves on Mnandi until I googled it like you.
Anyone wanting one would have to find it on the used marketplace as I believe that's not a damascus being offered at this time, (I may be wrong).
 
I had a cocobolo Mnandi with SS DT Damascus Basketweave blade. I sold it, but still have pics of it and will post them. It was beautiful and I miss it...!!!
 
I think basket weave will be a future offering now. I had someone mention that to me, but I could be wrong.
 
Here is the one that I had. I do know that CRK has posted that Raindrop, Ladder, Basketweave are the damascus available, but I believe the basketweave to be a typo. I am hoping I am wrong as its a sweet pattern. I like raindrop, but dont care for ladder that much. I am hoping they come out with something else since spirograph is no more.



 
For the large and small sebenza as well....???

I am assuming its only available for the standard 21 correct....???
 
I asked Angela about a Mnandi but I assume it is available for all models currently offered with damascus (Mnandi and both 21s).

I wonder if / when we will start seeing BW on ready made pieces at the dealers. That will be sweet!
 
I would love to see some basketweave damascus on the nice thick bladed 25.......MMMMMmmmmmm...!!!
 
Talked with CRK a few weeks ago about getting getting a Damascus blade for my 21. They do have basketweave available. They took my order said they would contact me in appx 9 mths. I could then send them my knife and they would put on a new Basketweave Damascus blade. I cant wait. Cheers
 
I apologize Serg, I probably derailed this thread somewhat myself.
I agree with you, there must not be many Mnandi in basketweave.

I just ordered a BW blade that I will have installed on this baby. Will have to wait about a year for the pictures. If it is a standard option, I guess we will see more of them in the meantime ...
