Well I went to the local Bass Pro yesterday, actually its the headquarters(place is huge) I always visit the knife shop when I'm there and apart from the WH knives(which are marked way up) and some BMs:o , can I mention that here:D ...Bass Pro now carries Spyderco! I'm not sure what some of you will think of this, but I for one am very happy about it. Now, when I go to the BP knife shop I can look at some of the best built folders around. What models you ask...well, I believe I saw a CE Delica4, CE Endura4, SS Cricket, SS Delica, and a Native, might have a been a couple of others as well. I'm not bid on CE knives or I would have bought a D4, I was very tempted to get a Cricket. Anyhow, just thought I would share this new and see if anyone else knew about it.

Cool! Thanks for sharing. I have a BP Shop here, I'll have to see if they followed their HQ in this. I was pretty disappointed a few months ago when I didn't see any there. ;)

I was in the Orlando, FL Bass Pro Shop last Friday and the guy at the knife counter said they dropped the Spyderco line a while back. Warning to all knife-nuts and sportsmen: Avoid Bass Pro on Black Friday. Never should've let my wife convince me to go shopping on the day after Thanksgiving. That place was a mad-house!

I visited the new one in San Antonio a few weeks back and there were no Spydercos in the lineup. The guy behind the counter said he personally liked them and there might be some coming soon. I wonder if their buyers act independantly or if it's a consistent product line across the enterprise.

Hmmm...sounds like not all the BPs are gonna be carrying them, or not yet anyhow. I frequent the BP quite often for one reason or another and this is the first time I have ever seen Spyderco there, and I've lived here and been going there looking at their knives all my life. I'm usually quite dissapointed in their selection..that is until now. Most of the stuff they have in folders is junk, apart from the BM, a nice selection of Kershaws and now, the best in their lineup...the Spydercos. And Yes, Never go to BP near any big shopping day...it IS a Mad-house.

The last time I looked at the one here in Vegas, it had some Benchmades and even some William Henry's but no Spyderco...oh and a crap load of junk knives you could buy at Walmart, Kmart, and Target.
