Bass Pro Outlet Seems To Be A Lucky Spot For Me

A few months ago I stopped by the Bass Pro Outlet store just to see if they had anything interesting on the knife shelf. To my surprise they had three out of the package large Vantage Pros priced at $20.00 each. I bought two of them. I went back later that night to get the other one, but it was gone.

Today I stopped by the outlet shop to check for any deals and they had a 340 Vantage for $10.00.

These were all opened package return knives, but that didn't bother me in the slightest. A good deal is a good deal.

Holy schmoly. Those are AMAZING deals for the Vantage Pros. At that price point, I wouldn't care one bit if they didn't have boxes. I would probably have snatched up all three of them, figuring that I paid what is roughly street price for one Vantage Pro while getting two backup knives for free at the same time.

I wish I had your luck :D

It pays to take the time and do the work of checking all the possibilities......whether it be Bass Pro or some remote and forgotten hardware store or that yard sale sign that causes you to touch the brakes and say, "Should I?"

Yep... At a garage sale once, the ol guy had some NRA belt buckles for sale. I asked him where the guns were ? He had a double car garage filled with guns.
Many old Colt and Winchesters. He had owned a gun shop for 30 years before retiring.

Last weekend the wife went to some garage sales, and came home with a knife. She asked me if I wanted it ? Turns out it is an almost mint old Schrade 152. It looks like all it did was lay in someones drawer for about 40 years. She scored and got it for 10 bucks

You just never know what you might find......and all the young Bucks should learn from what you did.

Always ask the questions--even if it gets tedious. Once in a great while the answer is yes.

;)

BTT, you did good for sure... ...

Estate sales, yard sales and swap meets work for me... ITE ... :D
