what to do what to do... Got a gift card for outdoor world (bass pro shops) and I'm torn between using it towards a Surefire G2 or G2L or using it towards one of their spyderco's (probably delica but who knows).

I have all the knives I could need (but not want!) including a Native S30V. But I also have all the lights I could need. I know this forum is slightly bias, but whawt do you guys think? Or maybe I should go with a Case slippy... ah the choices!

use it for something you would not otherwise buy for yourself, but want anyway.

i had a couple cabela's gift cards, and put them towards some cold weather clothing. i was able to upgrade from what i originally planned to buy.

btw, i think all your choices are good ones. if there were such a thing as a three sided coin, id say flip. :)

I bought a Case Texas Jack CV amber bone at BPS recently and I love it.
Just my 2 cents.

I agree with MORIMOTOM's statement.

Go crazy and get something You really would like and don't look back, Enjoy.

If you fish, you might want to try out some of their rods. I picked up a couple of their brand and they are VERY nice. Fly rods, spinning rods, casting rods, saltwater rods, doesn't matter - they're all nice. Good bang for the buck, IMO.

Ended up with a G2 and a spare set of batts ($6 for 2! gotta get some bulk). I havent been able to jusify it but have wanted a nice halogen, so it works and I'm very happy! It was the standard $35.99 as it is elsewhere.

And yes the Spyderco's were horribly over priced. $65 for the D3/E3!

If you didn't need anymore outdoor goodies.I quess it wouldn't do any harm to ask them if they were willing to give you a cash refund for you gift card, since it's a gift card.If not,you could threaten to never spend a cent there again.

I've heard that several retailers are willing to refund gift cards to recipients. The only one not willing, that I know of is Home Depot.

I know the money is already spent, but one nice knife there is the Buck 110 in 154CM.
