I just noticed a new 110 model on the Basspro website. Smooth bone, 420HC blade. Looks cool. Maybe a little pricey (not compared to CS). Oh yeah, also a 102, 105 and a 119.

Thanks for the heads up Tony. I can almost buy all 4 for the price of one Buck custom shop knife.....Hmm.

I'll have to check and see if Case makes one similar... :)

Thanks Tony,
I will try to go to Basspro tomorrow for sure... :D ... That 110 I like, well they all look nice...:D ... There next customs could go for $500.00 and up... ... So I better buy now.... :) :D ;)

Very nice!

I had hoped for a different blade steal. However, it is still a very good deal.

:) :D :)
Just bought the New Smooth Bone 110 Limited Edition Buck Knife from the Bass Pro Shop In Rancho Cucamonga CA...:D... It's a beautiful knife, I just wish it had a S30V blade...... Now I'll be waiting for them to get the 102, 105, and the 119 in...:)... They only had two 110's in to pick from...

Thanks again Tony for the heads up...

Hey tooearly, post a pic if you can. I'd like to go to a store to pick one out, but I'd be putting out half the cost of that knife in gas. I've got an iron in the fire on the bay, if it falls through I'll probably take the trip to the Clarksville store.

Sorry Tony, but my camera is in Carlsbad CA by the beach about 90 miles from here at my son house...... The knife is nice... ... It does have brass bolsters and not nickel silver... :grumpy: ... But it really is a beautiful knife for the money.... :D:D:D

Brass bolsters huh. Not nickel silver. That's why it's sometimes worth the drive. Hold it in hand before laying down the cash. Thanks tooearly!

We can't get much any more for a $100... ... I just like it! :D ! Even if it's cow, dog, or cat Bone... and brass bolsters

Not a bad deal at all.Sure makes me feel good about my custom purchase tho.I paid just $106. for Nickel Silver frame ,Cherry wood,154 CM blade. And a Leather sheath i could have passed on and brought the cost to 101 including shipping.I think that is a great deal and i plan to get one a month at least.Stay away from the exotic handle material until Buck can locate a better vendor deal sounds like the best plan to me.

Come'on guys....I like Buck Knives too, but you can't seriously believe that just putting bone scales on a Buck 110 should double the price of the knife.
It's just bone.
And with an many steaks and hamburgers that we eat in this country, bone is certainly not difficult, or expensive, to aquire.

If I could buy a custom for $106 I would...... Stag , Cherry or KOA with a 154 CPM or S30V and a Nickel Silvers bolster you bet I would... :D ... But, that isn't going to happen now is it...... But I really do like my new smooth bone knife... :)... No one has to buy one, I saw it and I just like it... ... It will still look good with my other 110's that I like, just as much... :D:D... The price was high, But everything is... ...
