Bass Pro Smooth Bone discontinued?

The smooth bone 119, 105, &102 are listed as "not available online" . I happened to be in a brick and mortar BP last week and did not see them either. Too bad if it's true they are handsome knives. I was hoping they'd have more models made.
 
Last week I contacted a friend who manages a local BP store. I tried to buy a few 119's in bone and he said he was out and has been unable to get any ordered since last year. He didn't mention them being discontinued...I know they are going through changes with the Cabela's merge.
 
Maybe the merge was the reason?
They were very nice knives & IMO not overpriced.o_O
The 102's were listed for 74.95 on sale after the 105 & 119's were listed as not available online. They were gone in 2 days.
 
20 years from now Amazon (already an elite alternative to your local cable truck vendors) will be your utility provider via solar and wind. They're far more powerful. They've already started their own fleet to do away with USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc. And they'll be backed by Walmart, FB, googol, PP (already the best new source for approved credit) and a select few others I've forgot to name.

Once they conquer those fields, we'll be building anything we want at home in a $40,000 Mac Duplicopicator, perfect temper n all. You'll of course have to buy the stock ingredients...from Amazon, go figure! :)

Do I enjoy being crazy? More often than not! :D:thumbsup:

too bad as those bone scales are really sharp.

off topic eveled eveled did ya always use that avatar or was there someone else who used to use a similiar 124 and snake one like that? my memory is playing tricks on me I think?
 
I just started using it. It's from a nocoma boot advertisment. Somebody already pm me that it used to be used by somebody else. I'm trying to get the bad mojo off it. It is too cool a picture to go unused. If it really bothers somebody pm me I'll dump it.
 
My 119 has the 75th stamp. Makes me curious how many runs we're bought in what years.

I was seriously hoping Bass Pro would add a model each year or so. So over time I could build a set.

Maybe C&C will take up the torch. It would be a dandy Father's day present each year.

It's all good. I put it in my signature line, to help alleviate any confusion. Like I said you were not the first.
 
I'd jump on the 105! Don't know how you'd go wrong buying a set of the Bass Pro smooth bone knives...as an investment or just to admire. Gotta say, since they stopped making them, I'd be hard pressed to use mine though.
