Bat Box!!

Just wanted to show off the beautiful Bat Box made by our very own @Lycosa - from recycled materials!

I can't wait to get the box hung up and see if I can get some bat action! Thanks Rolf!

I've heard you are supposed to hang them high (10-20') there they get the most daytime sun (E or S face). I've also heard one bat can eat 1,000 mosquitoes an hour. Here's to hungry bats!

The higher the better, lots of sun and some way to keep predators from climbing to the box are all essentials to success.
Even then could take years before the 1st tenants move in but well worth the wait.
