The BATAC has quickly become one of my favorite knives. I've tried the search engine to no avail so I need a little help here. Could someone give me a run down on the comparison between the LEs and SEs? Pics would be great too. Thanks. :)

And tehn please sell me one. :D:thumbup:;):D

Wasn't it posted that the SE BATAC was 1/4in. full height grind... basically the same as an LE., yes? D/C, the olive green & black grips, and the SE marking being the only diff.... Did you check the thread where the SE set was announced? Somewhere in my head a memory lurks. LOL  :D

Ah come on guys... I would never...

But I really am interested in in the differences between the two. Mainly thickness? They are probably the same length.

I don't see any difference lengthwise, or in thickness. :)

You are correct. SE was built off of the LE platform. Different finish, different handles, and the SE markings are all that are different...

TL,

Are you offering your BATAC as a passaround????
You my friend are such a giver.

Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Slow down there guys. You don't want MY measly little CG BATAC. The finish is all gone, re-profiled, thrown, batoned, chopped, dropped:o, and god know what else. What we NEED is a virgin knife.

Wow! You are a stand up guys! :D :D

Thanks for the comparison details. I am still on the fence though as my CG BATAC has performed so well even with the thinner blade.
