BATAC Question

I've been reading a lot of the posts here recently in praise of the BATAC and must admit I like the looks of the CGBATAC. The blade size, sabre grind and overall looks all appeal to me. As I guess they will be appearing soon at the Company Store, and probably sell out quickly, I need to make my mind up to be ready for when they appear. So I'm wondering if I really need one as I already have a SRKW Desert Jack which seems to be roughly the same size, shape, thickness and grind etc. Can anyone post a comparison shot of the two and possibly comment on the similarities and differences between them. Thanks in advance.
 
I used to have a jack and have to batcs. One SE and one CG. As far as the DJ and the CG BATAC I'd say that they fill the same niche. For me, it would come down to which handle felt more comfortable and if the differences in SR-101 and INFI would be an issue. IMHO
 
tuesdays are usually a good day to check out the company store as skunk is usually sober for a few hours during his drive to the liquor store. i heard he's going fishing so things will prolly be in short supply till he gets back. :thumbup:

This is the clue we've been waiting for my friends....
 
You should get a BATAC. It is WAY beefier than the Desert Jack. I have both and will try to post a pic. You will probably put the Jack on the shelf after holding a BATAC imo. ... more to follow

Thanks for all the advice, comments, offers of posting photos (looking forward to seeing that comparison so extra thanks there Dunner) etc. People here in this forum are as always most helpful, so good for info purposes but probably bad for credit card balances. Maybe you guys should get a commission from Busse and Visa - how's that for an idea!:D
 
Unless you get a SJTACLE/HOGSJTACLE. That has much more wart-hoggish-ness to it than the regular SJTAC.

Altho I haven't had a chance to fondle my BATACLE/HOGBATACLE yet, so I'll reserve that judgement til next week.
 
Skunks on Pacific daylight time stay up later than drunks on Eastern daylight time so tell me what hit the store after I wake up tomorrow!!!

12:11 a.m CDT Wednesday morning and nothing yet. Looks like the Skunk's just a tease.
 
And since I have to be at work in seven hours, I'm a little annoyed that I stayed up for nothing.

But I know how you feel, this Aussie piglet has had a crash course in sleeplessness since his recent addiction to INFI....LOL

Just think how much more upset you would have been had something gone up tonight and you missed out?! :eek: :D

That darned Skunk. But I suppose drunken fishing is an acceptable excuse for pretty much anything.
