Well I decided to give it another go with the SE. This time I attached a small lanyard (all I had) to help out. I must say that halped a lot IMHO. A longer lanyard would have worked better. But I just wraped the small one around my pinkie. I did two practice runs and then twice in this clip. I am still getting used to properly utilizing a lanyard for this. But I could definately feel the difference between my regular chops and the ones where I choke back and really let the lanyard do its work. See waht you think.

Now remember, this is not a desginated chopper. It aint no BM by a long shot. But if you HAD to use the BATAC SE or LE in a pinch, you'd be cobered. I'd still baton it. ;)

BTW: I chopped through 4 of these (almost 2x4s) and it was still scary-shaving sharp with no blade damage. :)

But still, if I need to chop I'm using a Mistress or my Dog Father. ;)

I'll use the SE for CQC , prying, batoning, etc... The right tool for the right job.

Thanxx a LOT, TL...! :grumpy: Ya just gave me the itch, and I just officially broke in (...The only way ya CAN break a Busse... is IN, LOL) #27 BATACLE on a pallet I had in the garage. CHOP CHOP!!!! :D:D:D :thumbup: Well, she's a USER now! :D Heh-heh!! Thanxx for the inspiration!!

Right on Jaxx! How is the satin finish holding up?

So far, not bad! :D I can see tiny scratches close up, but that's pretty much it. I did wipe some oil on it before taking it to the pallet, that may have helped some.
