I still haven't had a lot of free time to give my SE a good workout but here is a quick clip of it doing some light chopping and prying. It easily made some great tinder and smaller sized pieces for a fire w/o a baton. I need to get this beast out where there are some bigger targets. And yes I was careful w/ my fingers. All 8 of them. :p

It feels real comfortable chopping and prying.

This next one is some batonning with my dead blow hammer. It's hard to see but only about 1" of the blade was available for batonning. However, 1" was plenty and it went through the wood easily. I hope I have time for a fire later tonight before bedtime.

And the DCBB is holding up superbly. I think this is my new favorite finish.

Yes, a finger left in the way of those chops would be a finger left behind.
Always enjoy your videos.

Dang that one made me cringe with each whack! I hope your momma doesn't see that! She'll take you to the wood shed.

TL you are a Wild Man!!! Nice job bro...dang it does some nice work, don' it.

2nd clip just added. :) The extra thickness lends to splitting a lot easier than the CG does. Both great knives though.

cool vids!! my le and ganza ak are inbound. we need to set up another bbq -chop!!!!

I'm surprised that you haven't already chopped down that retaining wall behind you.. What's the holdup?

lol They have 4 or 5 kids. If I do that I will have their 5 and my 3 orbiting around me screaming for snacks, water, candy, etc...

:p

The reason I do a lot of these vids in my yard is that we have had to cancel ALL outdoor vacations this year do to a few family crisis. We love to go car camping (the kids are still little) and I would love to use my INFI in a real outdoor setting. Next year though... IT'S ON! We usually do 3-4 trips in the summer. Maybe even a Christmas camping trip since I get 3 weeks paid off at my school. :D

But this is why I love all the post I see of you guys REALLY putting your INFI to use in real, every day situations. For now, I am just a poser. :p I will join you soon. :) Keep bringing it guys.

Awesome vids! Be careful though about holding the piece of wood you are chopping or this might happen.
