BATAC sheath

Say I want to have a sheath (leather or nylon with kydex insert) for my BATAC whenever I get it. Do any makers have blanks for this knife yet? Will the BATAC fit a sheath for the older BA?

I don't think they have any blanks for them yet. I have an order in with Leatherman that I put in a while ago. I'm hoping by BATAC is here before my number gets called!

That's a bummer. Maybe I'll get an Ontario RAT5 sheath until people are making sheaths for the BATAC.

Dwayne does have a patern. I won a sheath for my BATAC at BLADE. Fits oh so sweet. As always from him.

I will eventually get a leather sheath but wanted a "survival" type sheath first. I am using an NO-E factory sheath for my BACTAC and it is a bit large.

I'm using a Spec-Ops Combat Master (small). Not a perfect fit, but decent. I may heat the insert and pinch it a bit for a tighter fit.

NO. I got one and returned it because the BATAC did not fit. I got a small Spec-Ops sheath and it fits. If you cut a little notch in the kydex on the talon hole side it fits like a dream.

I have a Semper Paratus on order with Dan. I can't wait to see it. It's similar to the Spec Ops, but custom fitted to the BATAC for a no rattle fit. From what I've heard, his work is top notch. I'll post pics when it comes, hopefully in early July.
