I just polished the spine all the way around. Still needs some more work but this little Badger is looking pretty good.

You have got my wheels spinning (that is a dangerous thing).

I have to decide which handle would look best with nekid steel. SS, Black micarta, or tan?

As well as the nekkid pics! I have the same thing in mind for the blk/ blk BA TAC i bought too! :thumbup: :thumbup:

Thanks man! You will love it. In feels even better with a polished spine. IMHO.
 
Hoochee-mama!

I'm strippin my snake. It'll save me from fretting when the coating gets scratched. I don't mind scratched dc/satin. I HATE that worn-coating look.

Plus it is more comforting in food-prep. I think, "gee, did I get any tan in the onions?" LOL

I've been thinking about grinding off some of the top hump in the TAC handle as well... maybe about an 1/8" or so... it just seems to poke into that part of my palm.

And the polished spine looks just killer on yours.

TL - It looks fantastic. Sweet job man.

Foo - I agree with you 100%, the bump (palm swell?) is just a little too large for my hands too. Doesn't bother me on the FBM so blade thickness must factor in.
 
That looks great!

Can you polish the spine like that with out wearing any of the micarta down?

I need to get off my butt and strip one.

Sweet. You have to post pics if you do this mod. Lots of people would be very interested. The palm swell seems to be one of those things you either love or hate. If you look at the old BA from Mulder's passaround thread you will see a BATAC side by side with it. You can see that the old school BA is flat accross the top spine. This would be a cool mod.:thumbup:

Not quite the same verses I learned in Sunday school, but still a religious experience. Love naked, polished INFI. Sweet job Bro!

Dave's pass around is what made me feel the need to "straighten" it out a bit. :D :thumbup:
