Our oldest daughter, Angie, has to go in the hospital for a minor outpatient procedure, so Connie will be staying at their house to take care of Emily on Thursday and Friday. I figure since Connie does not eat steak, that I would cook out while she is gone and try my new Personal Steak Knife. Might even splurge and pick up some beer!

 do it!

Cool - get you some beer, a nice big fat ribeye (Sam's has pretty good meats) and take us some pictures of the madness please!

Don't do anything I wouldn't do. [That should leave it wide open]

I'm at home with a family of three, most of them very tired if not sick, :) oh, and it's exam week so I'm up to my elbows in all sorts of different grading, so do everything I'm not doing :)

I'm glad for you, everyone needs a break and you haven't had one in a while it seems. Have fun, and take a picture of that steak knife in action if you can.

and peter...forgot to mention...sorry to hear your family is fighting sickness. hope they get well soon. i can relate. i have been fighting it for two days...and i sense i am losing the battle. ;)

Andy took the words right out of my um, fingers.
Enjoy it. I hope everything goes well with all of your family while you're batching it.

Realll sorry to hear it Todd, hope you win out! I just about got over it by now but we've playing pass the virus here, still it seems most of it is on the way out, we're on the down slope at least. thanks for the concern.

John, any thoughts on what kind of steak, I plan to live through you :)

Party at the JK Corral!(sorry,I think someone else used that line already IINM.)

You talk about bachin' it,eatin' steak & drinking beer, but I bet you'll be missing Connie the whole time.(despite the no steak eating thing);)
Try to have fun & stay out of trouble.

Annnnnnd....pics or it didn't happen.

I agree John. do it up big. you definitely deserve a break brother. Some down time, a few beers and a delicious steak could be just what the doctor ordered!

Perfect Fall day, 67 and sunny.

Dinner fit for a king, steak, baked potato, and grilled mushrooms, washed down with a cold beer! Kind of made me forget my problems for a bit.
