Has anyone seen these? Pistol style handle push dagger.

What's your thoughts?

The design doesn't look practical to me. Give a folder or "traditional" fixed blade like a ESEE 3 if you want to carry a fixed daily.

If you like it and the design that is all that matters. I find it "mall ninja-ish".

I don't consider the design useful for anything except as a weapon.
Push daggers are illegal in some localities for pretty much that reason.
That was my first thought too. And as far as weapons go, I'd prefer a pistol over a push dagger.

Perfectly practical purely as a weapon. (Probably nearly useless for routine knife tasks.) The angle duplicates the angle of a closed fist, providing a straight thrust into an opponent.

And I agree totally about the "mall ninja" aspect. It looks like it was designed by a Klingon.

That thing's useless.

It's not even useful as a weapon. Notice the hook shaped protrustion on the back of the spine which would make wothdrawing the knife from a stab difficult.

Thats probably sold as a feature. "Stab your opponent, then gut him as you pull out your blade with our patented NinjaHook™.

If I didn't know any better, I'd think there were a whole heck of a lot of jealous knife nuts here that are envious cause they don't have one tucked in their boot or waistband.
Am I right or am I right? :)
C'mon, fess up, you'll feel better if you let it out.

I don't think it's designed to penetrate deeper than the grind/swerrated portion, maybe the hook is there to allow the user to grab things and use it as a makeshift handle, I'm curious about the hole cut out of the middle (for weight reduction?)

Nothing wrong with a weapon if it's used for self defense reasons. I've carried a handgun for years but never shot or threatened anyone.

That said I still feel there are better options than this one in particular.

I always wanted this kind of stuff when I was 13, then I would use my Shcrade 34OT to cut something and realize there's no way it could actually be good for anything than capturing the envy of my friends or brother who were just as young and dumb as I was ;);)
