Ok not really. But I'm new to CRK and I wanted to start a little thread for other newbies. First off, don't be afraid to use your crk. I carried mine but didn't really use it for a year besides cutting paper. These blades hold an edge for quite awhile. I was very surprised when I got done whittling bark off of an 8 foot piece of oak and was still able to cut news paper. Also, the action will smooth out. I wasn't able to thumb flick my sebenza 21 open when I bought it, but the more I use it, people were right, it smoothed right out. As for scratches, the blade looks no worse for wear due to the stone wash finish, the handles (I have a cf) wear, but in a nice way. I always admire knives or tools that weren't abused, but wore in certain areas. I don't know how to explain it. The pocke clip holds very well also. I took the lanyard off because I didn't like it, but I kept the lanyard pin. I already knew that water wouldn't phase this knife, and Chris states that coming from a corrosive environment, he kept that in mind for his knives. Take down is easy as far as cleaning is concerned. So all in all, it's a worthy knife to keep in your pocket. As far as batoning through a brick goes, someone let me know :-)

Yeah, it's hard to get past the initial use.

That's always been my number one complaint about CRK's -- so hard to get those fist few marks in.

But in the end it's a tool, maybe a piece of art work as well, but a tool nonetheless. And in my life, my tools get used.
