when MyWifeThinksImCrazy posted this in another one of my threads, i figured it was time to baton with my eskabar :D

I think you should try beating on it too. You'll find that it is truly a great knife.

Thanks for your reviews.

so i decided to get out and do it today :D

maybe a BK2 could do it? :D

Nice! Don't let anyone see that you actually messed up the coating; it will confuse people. "you USE your knife??!?"

Your welcome!!

You should go get a BK13 now and go at it with that thing. I love mines. Pretty much any BKT knife will be great. :D

hopefully my next becker will be the BK2. i already have 3 neck knives, do i really need 4? :D

well i think my izula, eskabar, and BM160 have me covered. ;)

should i find myself needing another one than i'll pick one up.

I have heard rumors of a 2 splitting wood but I have also heard rumors about a guy named Santa Claus.

The Eskabar is great at batoning; I tried it one time just to see and it kind of surprised me. Obviously it won't work well for anything bigger than 2-3 inches thick, but with anything less than that it flies through the wood. It got a couple of deep scratches all the way through the coating, but it got the job done and the scratches just made it look even better.

Pardon my cellphone image.

I love batoning with my 11 quick spit shine and she's as purty as the day I met her.
