Batoning with an Ash-1

I have to say its my favorite way process kindling for fire starting. We camp quite a bit and have fires every night. I have my axe and hatchet. But I get the most satisfaction when I baton. I think it gives me the best control of the size pieces I want. And its just plain fun to whack your Busse over and over again. Pic of my gear.

.....I got in a fist fight with a guy about whom this is the perfect description... he go hit around the head lots, it just didn't seem to make any difference to him.... !
