Had a stick sitting here that i was shaving the bark off and decided to baton thru it. this was really really easy but the stick was only the size of my pinky. the only time i actually had to baton it a little was the first cut, then i could just pushed thru the other pieces with hand strength. I just did this for fun, i wouldnt use my 11 for batoning in normal situations and i dont think its practical to split wood this small unless your making something crafty but i wanted to test out the fresh custom job on it. the blade is just blasted i believe, i dont think theres any paint on it. but theres no marks left on the blade either way, the ones in the last picture just rubbed off with my shirt. and the front jimping didnt interfere with the batoning. i cut the 1 stick into 16 pieces.

Definetly my favorite knife. i could go a few city days without my 2 or 9 but i wouldnt wanna even go a few hours without my 11.

Lookin good! I forgot to comment on the first thread about it, but that firesteel idea is just badass. Did you just drill through it?

Thanks man. its a toggle, came with the holes drilled. i actually got it for making a paracord bracelet but i like this better.

Yes it is! also have a magnesium one as well but didnt add it on. works great and i love the location on the handle like that. i use a seperate scrapper.

Very nice job on the mods ........ Love th paint job and I want to know where the "toggle" came from.......Could be way too interesting to drill your own.......Could get a wee bonfire on the drill press, eh?.......

Note to self: check the firesteel site regularly, they are innovative.
I'm a huge fan of the gobspark firesteels, btw.
