Just wondering how things went at the Batson's Bladesmithing Symposium this year. Now I know how it feels to miss out on going somewhere great.

RAKER!!!!!!!!!!! Where was you at???????? Someone asked me about you...I can't remember who. IT WAS GREAT! Crowell and Flatgrind rode with me down there...I laughed soooooooo hard! It was my first time there...I WILL BE BACK! First CLASS all the way. I delivered some wood to Batson and a few others from Filicietti. Batson KISSED ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I blushed:confused: Cashen won the comp. Fitch was second, he cried for six hours:( Sold a few knives, bought a OLD PETE folder, damascus and ivory. I had lost my stag one. Walker and Pete rode back with us. I laughed soooooooooo hard! I had to threaten to whoop Fitch and Crowell numerous times...THEY WERE SCARED!:) I wish it could have lasted a few more days. Are you going to Uncle Al's tomorrow night?

I can't do any traveling for a while. I am still going to the doctors and they haven't found out for sure what is wrong. I am hoping to be well enought to make it to Gulfport the last week end of the month and then the hammer-in at Washington the first week end of May. Haven't gotten to work on a knife in about a month or so. Just a little bit of this and that from time to time. I will be there at Washington.
See you then.
Thanks for the run down and I have listened to John talk about things for hours. He and Pete are some good people to travel with.
