I picked up a handforged battle axe about a year or so ago, its pretty cool. I have it hanging on my wall, and everyone that comes oversays the same thing, what the heck? or wow!....just wondering if anyone else out there has one that is similar. Its not a cheapy from china, and it's hand made, so I know nothing else about it. Who made it is a mystery to me. The cutting edge is 9" and from the edge to the tip of the spike on the other side is 15". The handle is my creation, I didn't like the old one so I made one out of Ironwood, it's 42" long. I've looked up Battle Axes and it resembles an old naval boarding axe, but its just way to big for that aplication. Anyways, enjoy. Oh yeah, the guy I bought it off of said it was a beheading axe, for what ever thats worth.
